Dumfries & Galloway

I have taken up my post as NFU Scotland’s Regional Manager for Dumfries and Galloway and look forward to working closely with NFUS members, local Group Secretaries and NFUS head office staff and office bearers on all aspects of activity in the Region, including meetings with individual members, branch and commodity meetings and recruitment.
I am a farmer’s daughter from South West Scotland and started my career in the agricultural industry working in sales and marketing. Latterly I worked with Pinneys of Scotland, who supplied M&S and manufacturing businesses with seafood products.
I am very pleased to have been appointed to this role and am eager to start work on the big issues facing members in the Region, including milk prices, sheep identification and Nitrate Vulnerable Zones (NVZs). I have lived locally for a number of years so I have a good knowledge of the area and know a lot of people involved in the industry. There are many others I am still to meet, however, so please be sure to get in touch with me if you have any questions.
