Presidential Term
If a president is willing to run for more than four years then I think the English NFU require him to get 75 % of the vote in an election .The down side is that those looking to be president may never see right time to challenge for the job as personnel at the top may not “have to change” so often and may not even challenge. Change is essential to keep new idea’s and stop people from dropping into a comfort zone .

It is amazing how candid and honest political leaders are about their successes and failures....

Agree. Must encourage new people, new ideas and new approaches. Past presidents can still offer their guidance and wisdom if they wish. I think longer presidential terms might prove a recipe for stagnation and complacency and it is difficult for any individual to maintain enthusiasm and drive in the job over an extended period. A vacancy every 4 years encourages those on the way up who are keen to stand for the position.
