Membership Categories
Full Membership
If you are a farmer, crofter or grower with more than 5 hectares then you can join NFU Scotland as a full member. Your subscription will be based on:
- the area and type of land you farm if you are a farmer
- your annual turnover if you are involved in horticulture
- a flat rate if you are a crofter
Professional
Whatever your profession NFUS Professional membership will keep your finger on the pulse of the agricultural industry. NFUS will provide you with invaluable information and expert services to provide you with a strong advantage over your competition. Membership is based on the size of your organisation, to find out more download an application today.
Associate Membership
If you are the spouse, son, daughter of an existing full member, then you can join as an Associate.
NFU Countryside
If you live in and are interested in the countryside then why not join NFU Countryside and receive a high quality monthly magazine full of articles on subjects such as horses, gardening, the environment and have access to FREE legal and countryside helplines. www.countrysideonline.co.uk
How Much Will It Cost?
Annual Subscriptions (excluding VAT):
- Farming - £105.00 to £1,272.00 based on the quantity and quality of land farmed
- Horticulture - £115.00 to £540.00 depending on the turnover of the business
- Crofter - £66.00
- Associate - £66.00
- NFU Countryside - £42.38 incl VAT
- NFUS Professional - £300 to £1,904 depending on the number of employees in the business
