On 8 and 9 February 2018, NFU Scotland returned to the Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow for a second year to host its AGM, Conference and Annual Dinner following the previous success at the popular city centre venue.

This event is the perfect opportunity to eat, meet and connect whilst providing a platform to network, integrate and discuss with fellow members, stakeholders and wider industry partners.

This is your Union and the Conference provides an opportunity for all members to have their say.

NFU Scotland invited a host of innovative and inspirational speakers who provided an insight into different ways Scottish agriculture and the rural economy can continue to move forward in 2018, view the complete programme here

A word from our event sponsors

Scotbeef and M&S, an enduring partnership benefiting Scottish farmers

Scotbeef is proud to be in partnership with Marks & Spencer as a supplier to them for almost 60 years. During thistime both businesses have grown together and shared the same values which focus on delivering high quality innovative beef and lamb products to UK consumers.

Scotbeef, run by the Galloway family, has been prominent in helping to develop Scotland’s red meat industry. The

business traces its roots back for over a hundred years when it was founded by James W Galloway and remains in family ownership

today under the direction of Robbie Galloway CEO. Scotbeef is passionate about producing the highest quality meat products for the UK retail market. This journey starts with the pride we take in working in partnership with our farmer suppliers who produce their livestock to the highest welfare standards, using efficient and sustainable production systems.  Scotbeef operates three abattoirs in Scotland at Bridge of Allan, Inverurie and Annan and regularly invests in modern technology to continually improve food safety, eating quality and integrity.

Marks & Spencer has a proud history of working with the agricultural community to provide the highest quality meat while minimising our impacts through our Farming for the Future programme. M&S has a commitment to lead the retail sector in sustainable production and consumption. The role of animal health and welfare is paramount in sustainable food production and we also strive to ensure that our meat is produced to the highest standards of food safety and quality by farms and processors that operate sustainably. M&S was one of the first to retail market with the iconic Aberdeen Angus Brand, and some would say that M&S and Scotbeef established the platform for the success of this breed. Today, the Scotbeef M&S partnership is one of the largest Aberdeen Angus buyers in the UK.

We are pleased to support NFU Scotland and wish you a successful conference!
