Thank you!
Two hardy teams from NFU Scotland took part on Friday 30 August in this year's Great Glen Challenge in support of RSABI - an incredible charity that provides critical financial aid, emotional support, and guidance to those in need within Scottish agriculture.
Our ten willing volunteers, rounded up from our Board, Regional Team and Edinburgh HQ office, walked, ran, cycled and kayaked their way from Fort Augustus Locks to Fort William with aplomb.
Mark Donald powered his way through the waters of Loch Oich to win the individual Kayaking medal. A tremendous achievement which saw him retain his ‘winner’s title’ for the second consecutive year.
Our team ‘Ninja Focussed Union Sportspeople’ (Lisa, Al, Sarah, Mark and Kate) were placed 3rd Overall! A fantastic performance all round.
This exciting one-day challenge is RSABI's biggest fundraising event of the year, and we are hoping, through our participation, to raise at least £2000 between our two teams to help support the amazing work this charity does. Please help us on this quest by donating using the QR code or by clicking
here. In doing so help us make a real difference.
An enormous thank you to everyone one who has supported us to date – we are extremely appreciative of your generosity and words of support that have pushed us through the pain barriers and reassured us that our efforts were worth it.
