The Shetland region is proud to support our crofting community, which makes up nearly 10% of NFU Scotland’s membership. As a crofter myself, I understand the daily challenges and concerns facing both crofters and farmers. Crofting is a way of life that spans generations, and to ensure the continued success and strength of our union, it’s vital that we hear from all voices—whether you're a long-standing member or just beginning your journey in agriculture.

As a member, you benefit from regular updates on important farming and crofting matters, as well as access to exclusive members-only discounts and offers. Our Family Membership option also allows you to include family members (who don’t run their own farming business) at no extra cost—another great way to keep the next generation engaged and informed.
