Self-Catered Accommodation

Self-catered accommodation without shared facilities (including second homes) can prepare to reopen from Friday 3 July, provided it is possible to meet the Scottish Government guidelines.

Is there specific guidance available?

Some helpful guidance includes:

  • The Association of Scotland’s self-Caterers guidance for cleaning protocols, available here

I operate self-catering accommodation on my farm, can I claim non-domestic rate relief?

Applications for rate relief should be made via your local authority. More information on how to apply is online, available here
