Manifesto 2026 Summary - click here to read

NFU Scotland’s 2026 Manifesto outlines the key actions needed to secure a profitable and sustainable future for Scottish farming and crofting.

Ahead of the Scottish Parliament election, the Union is calling on all political parties to commit to practical policies that support food production, climate action and thriving rural communities. The Manifesto sets out 12 priority areas, including future farm support, supply chain fairness, workforce, land use, and infrastructure – all shaped by member input and regional engagement.

This is a critical election for Scottish agriculture. With the right support, our sector can deliver more for Scotland’s economy, environment and people.
