Snow-hit Farmers Urged to Complete Questionnaire

With more than 200 farm and horticultural buildings suffering major structural damage during the recent snowstorms, NFU Scotland is urging all affected farmers and growers to complete the Scottish Government questionnaire issued to assess the situation.

Government Green Light for Grocery Ombudsman

NFU Scotland is delighted that the UK Government has accepted a Competition Commission recommendation and will establish an ombudsman to police the grocery supply chain in the UK.   Consultation on the shape and role of the body will commence next month.
