All Welcome at North East Debate on Future for Scottish Agriculture ‘Not to be missed’ panel for Oldmeldrum event on 30 May.

NFU Scotland’s North East Region are hosting a “Matter of Opinion” panel evening on Thursday, 30 May from 7pm until 9.45pm at Lochter Activity Centre, Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire that’s not to be missed.  The subject being debated is: “What is the future for Scottish agriculture?” 

The North East region is extending an invite to all members and non-members to attend.  

The panel members are: 

  • Local Banffshire new generation farmer and marketing guru, Jason Lancaster. 
  • Newton Stewart-based hill farmer and NFUS LFA representative, William Moses. 
  • Jedburgh-based mixed arable and livestock farmer and AgriScot Chair, Robert Neill.
  • Brechin-based arable farmer and SoilEssentials Managing Director, Jim Wilson.  
North East Regional Chairman, Kevin Gilbert, will chair the panel event, and said: “This is an event not to be missed. We are deeply privileged to host this panel session with such an array of fantastic and professional speakers, businessmen and serious entrepreneurs within our agricultural industry. We hope to see many members in the room, where they will all be guaranteed to be part of an enlightening debate and discussion on the future of our industry.”
