NFU Scotland’s President, Martin Kennedy has welcomed today’s (16 January) announcement that Robert Black has been appointed as the new Tenancy Farming Commissioner saying, “NFU Scotland welcomes the appointment of Robert Black as the new Tenant Farming Commissioner.  This role has proved to be a vital part of improving relations in the tenanted sector. This is due in no small part to the fantastic job done by the outgoing Commissioner, Dr. Bob McIntosh CBE. His leadership, guidance and collaborative approach has moved the sector forward by bringing the industry together to discuss what can sometimes be divisive issues.

“NFU Scotland looks forward to working with the new Commissioner, to work towards a healthy and vibrant tenanted sector in Scotland.”
