Reminder for all Cattle Keepers of Registration Switchover to ScotEID This Weekend

ScotEID helpline available on 01466 794323 or help@scoteid.com

Scottish cattle keepers are being reminded that major changes to the registration and movement system for cattle take place this weekend and that the ScotEID helpline for assistance is 01466 794323 or email help@scoteid.com

Scottish cattle keepers are being asked to record all births, deaths and movements on ScotEID from Monday 4 October 2021 under a new menu option called ‘ScotMoves+’.  The transfer from BCMS (CTSOnline) to ScotEID (ScotMoves+) will take place over the next two days. All cattle keepers have been written to previously by ScotEID and information is available on www.ScotEID.com

NFU Scotland’s Livestock Policy Manager Hannah Baker said: “Don't forget that this weekend sees the change over from BCMS (CTSOnline) to ScotEID for the registration of all cattle movements, births and deaths.

“Over the weekend the system will be unavailable and from Monday 4 October all registrations should be made on the new ScotMoves+ system.  Data will be transferred from BCMS to ScotEID over the weekend, but we advise keepers to check their records match once the transition has happened.

“If you have previously been using ScotMoves on ScotEID then you will not need to do anything to use the new system, simply log in with your existing details and the ScotMoves+ option will be available. If you have not been using ScotMoves, then you should have received a passcode and instructions from ScotEID to register.

“If you have any issues using the new system then please contact ScotEID on 01466 794323 or help@scoteid.com.  If you do not use a computer then please contact ScotEID on this number for additional support.”  Ends
