Hosted by our President Andrew Connon, this event provides the opportunity for NFU Scotland members to hear from each of the parties and for you to ask questions that are important to you and your business.
Scotland’s farmers and crofters manage over 75% of Scotland’s land -producing high quality food for the nation, caring for nature, supporting rural communities, and contribute billions to the economy. But the next decade will bring major changes in funding, climate, policy and workforce challenges. So, it is important for us to hear from the political parties what the priorities are for the agricultural sector.
NFU Scotland is calling for a profitable, sustainable and resilient future for Scottish Farming, crofting and rural Scotland and our manifesto sets out NFU Scotland’s clear asks to the next Scottish Government and Parliament to secure the future of our sector.
